They can look at the situation and say "we had a global pandemic that stopped the world economy for 2 years and that has had unavoidable repercussions, yes our economy has recovered in an unequal manner but it has recovered way better than most world economies and Harris is promising to address the inequality in the recovery whereas Trump is promising a fascist dictatorship" As I said to the other guy - this is why Reagan stopped the teaching of critical thinking in 1983, to breed their own voters who voted and acted against their own interests. If you were capable of critical thinking as a nation the GOP would get 20% of the vote. Its ignorance that keeps them viable.

Even if I were incapable of supporting myself I would be housed, because its a social democratic [civilised] country. We don't let people live on the street if we can help it.

They only care about winning and a coup is fine for them - they dont care as long as their 20% is in power. But if YOU let the VP become the nominee YOU are anti democratic. Cos none of it matters to them. YOU are bad and everything you do is axiomatically BAD, and they are good and the mere fact they DO IT makes it acceptable.
