@gl15col - I live in Bulgaria in what was a beach and ski resort when i move here 15 years ago - not its just a beach resort, we have not had snow for 8 years. We used to get 3 - 4 feet at sea level and 4 to 8 in the mountains. - Maybe get a dusting on the tops now.

@masonp5083 WOW - here in Europe - even in Russia we dont get that, its super hot in the middle of Siberia in summer. Even in the mountains you dont get snow in summer. I mean the top of K2 maybe, but I mean inhabitable places.

@Aztec339 - From the permafrost - well that's further north that Im talking about and it SHOULD be frozen, obviously, but giant holes are appearing where it is emerging. The best one is the Shell gas production platform that is sinking into the ground cos the permafrost it is built on is melting due to climate change so they are -get this - refreezing the permafrost around the rig to enable it to continue production... Giant industrial refrigeration plants and underground pipes to re-freeze it around the rig - you LITERALLY could not make this up could you???
