I dont think they have learned, I dont thing they are capable of learning cos too many monied interests are involved in them NOT learning. They cant make small ships at scale, they are begging Japan and south Korea to build ship building yards in the US, but they dont want to even with subsidy cos there will come a time then the US dictates "stop building ships fo rX country or we will pull the subsidy for the US shipyards" the US has weaponized the $ so much no one will trust them. But the reason they are having to beg is the US yards will only build $1 billion ships for $3 billion. Carriers are obsolete but I can guarantee you they will build more. And its the same story in everything. The country is TOO CORRUPT to learn

  19.  @samjones337  It is but thats not as big a problem as people think, you can just print money and inflate the debt away. national debts are entirely fake they are just a way of giving money to rich people instead of taxing rich people. The balance of trade deficit is a WAY bigger problem, China has stopped buying US bonds with the surpluses $$$ from the trade deficit - thats $3 billion a DAY! China is paying off African US$ debt cos they have just so much $USD. If you have a $1 trillion a year trade deficit Chins has to DO something with that money
