  1.  @chrislambaa7586  -Its not a simple as that - the US never transitioned from a war time economy after WW2 - which is why they are permanently at war. If they stop dropping 6om6s their economy collapses, spending $1 trillion on the military is a massive boost to the US economy, they LOVE spending money 6om6ing people and if they stop they have to find a new war - as you have just seen. The rest of the world moved to a peace time economy after WW2 so spending money on the military is BAD for the economy - especially as NATO standards are all suspiciously US standards. So 70% of everything you spend on the military gets spent with US companies. so what the US mean when they demand 2% of GDP be spent on NATO they really mean GIVE US 1.4% OF YOUR GDP EVERY YEAR...!!! Like everything the US does - its for the benefit of the US ultimately. You can call it a "joint defence commitment:" but really its free money for the US. When the US gives $50 billion to Ukraine they dont SEE a penny of that - US defence contractors get that money to make new stuff that replaces old stuff in the US military and the old stuff gets shipped to Ukraine. Its NOT aid to Ukraine - it aid to US military companies and lots of unexpected new stuff for the US military. And where are those military contractors based - sh!tsville nowhere land, so it negated development money being needed in that area...

IF AM3R!C4 IS INVOLVED IN SOMETHING - IT IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF AM3R!C4 if they are feeding starving children in Africa, there is a geopolitical benefit [and usually a direct financial benefit] in feeding those children. The country least likely to do the right thing because its the right thing to do and not because you are being paid is Am3r!c4. The US is in NATO cos it benefits the US. Simples.

  4. DO NOT THINK FOR ONE SECOND that Am3r!c4 would go to war with Russia to protect a NATO ally - its never going to happen and on this Putin is correct...!!! Russia can hit US cities with conventional and nuclear weapons and there is no way on Gods green Earth the US is going to take their cities getting wiped out to save Germany. Its simply NOT going to happen. They would go to war with Zimbabwe for you or Yemen, but not with any country who can fight back. Defence treaties are for the benefit and security of the US - not the other signatories. In WW2 they insisted weapons be paid for in gold cos they thought Britain would lose and the £GBP would be worthless, they only started accepting £GBP after pearl harbour. The UK govt was about to confiscate wedding rings to pay the Am3r!c4ns when pearl harbour happened and negated the need...
