  1. I live in Bulgaria, my friend runs a little kiosk on the high street where he recovers people's data from phones they have broken or wiped. I asked him, the ONLY way it is ever truly unrecoverable is if you smash the phone to pieces with a hammer OR you re-install the iOS operating system and overwrite the data. this is not something a user can do. This is a true FACTORY reset, not a user reset.
