  1. I live in Bulgaria now - last month my energy bill was a REBATE - they paid me. why? Cos we are a net exporter of electricity due to nuclear and vast solar plants and the global price is so high and COS we are a socialist country there is a feedback mechanism if the energy companies make massive profits on exports due to high prices they have to use part of that to subsidise local prices... SO there was the situation where low energy users like me actually got paid slightly more back than they used - I got 75 cents LOL. But I got a month's free electricity and 75 cents.
