Do not for one-second console yourself, by thinking this is a global problem, this is very specifically an American problem. Most of Europe has proportional representation, so 20% fascist nut jobs cannot win an election. You have a messed up first past the post electoral college bullsh!t system that can be gerrymandered to allow a tiny minority of fascists to run the country. You have politically appointed judges. We do not for specifically. This reason the judiciary is independent from politics America is uniquely vulnerable to psychopathic fascists, with no regard for the rule of law due to it's weird, electoral and judicial system.
