  1. You are few and far between but GOD BLESS YOU...!!! I live in Europe but I also have an AMAZING landlord. He always asks if I am ok for the money, do I have enough, not leave myself short. In return, I am usually 3 months in advance with my rent. I never trouble him for small repairs that are technically his responsibility. Its a two-way thing.

This was my comment: BULLSH!T - THIS WOMAN IS LYING TO YOU rents are going up cos there is no decent return on share dividends cos the stock market was inflated SO MUCH by Trump and Obama This means that you get 0.25% to 1.15% return - so corporate investors are moving to PROPERTY and buying up whole neighbourhoods - this gives them a monopoly and they are jacking the rents. They are keeping up to 20% of the houses empty to ensure demand
