  1. I live in Bulgaria now - In eastern Europe, they have 2 kinds of mayors 1) Corrupt 2) Amazing. The office of mayor hols a huge amount of power so you have to beat a lot of corrupt people to get elected. The result is, if you get a none corrupt person they will be great. My city, the mayor is amazing - he got re-elected for the 3rd time with 84% of the vote in a free and fair election. Why? He has transformed the city from a post-communist decline dump into a vibrant modern city.
