@StephBer1 The problem you have, is 35% of your population is "functionally illiterate" in that they can read, but they are incapable of processing anything beyond simple instructions.

@TroIIingThemSoftly - It is incredibly depressing. What is the way forward for the USA when 35% of the populations simply CAN NOT process anything past basic instructions. Today a guy had an argument with me - he thought nationalising an industry meant everyone got the product in question for free... How do you even start to have a debate with people who cant understand the basics of the debate? And for you guys in America 35% is enough to swing an election, so the party most willing to lie, to engage in fantasies is the one most likely to get elected... Democracy only worked if the vast majority of the population understand the issues.

@MrDogonjon - I dont think you are "functionally illiterate" - I am severely dyslexic BTW. What I mean by functionally illiterate is the inability to understand the meaning of a sentence, not that it is hard to read a sentence. Just for the record - Im an author, a highly dyslexic author. My books get 4.8* on good reads - so being dyslexic has no bearing on intellect. As you say, it kinda leads to creativity.

THE ONLY BIT HE IS WRONG ABOUT is the "on the spectrum" People on "the spectrum" don't do insurrections unless they are very tidy, well organized, neat lines, no one passing in line, colour coordinated linens, no shouting insurections.

STOP GETTING OFFENDED ON BEHALF OF AUTISTIC PEOPLE Most people on the spectrum that I know would only be offended in so much as they are not stupid enough to be Trump supporters, past that they don't need your help.
