@donsims1941 NO the inflation is because you are collapsing as an empire and economy. What is masking that is the Govt spending and the w4r5 which pump hundreds of billions $$ into the US economy. On top of that you have hyper-financialisation of every sector of the economy and virtually no regulation - so you have inflation. Inflation is the price you pay for not collapsing totally like the USSR did in 1991. The biggest problem you face in the US is you stopped educating people in 1983, this means that you believe simplistic statements like "farm equipment and SHIPPING are all OUTRAGEOUS because of the INFLATION HER AND HER PARTY HAVE CAUSED" But it also means you dont have the intellectual and skill capital to stop the collapse. You cant build ships any longer so you asked Mitsubishi to come and open shipyards, you would pay them to do it - they delined sighting the lack of available qualified, intelligent, skilled people in the US. You cant make anything, you cant add value - you can only EXTRACt and that makes people poorer. iPhone apps that used to cost $5 are now $5 a month subscription, why? cos there is NO MONEY in making anything any longer, its purely extraction. There is no way out of this, its the end, the only thing you can do is manage the collapse and Biden did an astonishing job of that.

@TheNewsInASL You could not be more wrong - end-stage capitalism is why your country is collapsing. Am3ric4 will NOT BE a capitalist country in 50 years. You cant build anything, you cant make anything, everything is financialised and collapsing, Beoiing cant even make planes it is that corrupted and hyper-financialised - yet you NEED planes, but if you bail Beoing out [and yes it is going to go bankrupt] they will just use the money for stock buy backs and dividends. But you still need planes - so they will have to be nationalised - and this is the fate of every Am3ric4n corporation - monopoly, hyper financialisation, incompetence, collapse, nationalisation - so by an organic collapse of end-stage capitalism you WILL become a type of communist economy. You see the problem is you stopped educating people in 1983. so you think "Capitalism, not Communism, is the answer." is an acceptable answer to a vastly complicated question - and that is why you are collapsing.

@lakeliving2013 Ask yourself this - why is much higher quality food [most US food is literally illegal here] much cheaper in the EU when the prices are almost entirely set by the global commodities markets...??? We have vastly higher animal welfare standards, much stricter controls on pesticides, and its illegal to just fill everything with corn syrup. So why is it cheaper...??? I mean vastly cheaper. My food shopping is €10 a day for locally grown and reared largely organic food. AND we ahve a war going on...!!! The answer is simple - the food companies in the US are monopolies who own the politicians.

@stevenblum2365 I come from a farming family - my sister was the agro PhD for the World Bank. Everything you said is utter rubbish. EU farmers have WAY higher cost, way higher environmental standards, way higher regulation, and higher taxes yet our food costs way less than yours and out farmers are not going bankrupt. the simple attractive answer is almost NEVER the correct one
