  1. I dont support the institution of the monarchy. But I respect the Queen and Prince Philip for a lifetime of devotion to the country and to each other. 75 years together, I cant even begin to imagine the pain she must be feeling. And sadly - I don't think she will be long before she follows him...

  3.  @Greenpoloboy3  - My grandmother was with my grandfather for 50 years, not a single night apart. When he died the grief so very nearly took her. She just disintegrated before our eyes. She did get over it - but no one thought she would - the devastation of her was total.
