  1. IVE LIVED IN FRANCE "plunges into uncertainty" has no meaning in France. They have Gas pumps that dispense wine, 1000 types of cheese, they had a riot over a new tax on cheese when I lived there, there was a flood but the bakers was still open with 3 feet of water in it - and I KNEW it would be. The police drink beer at lunchtime and the trains are amazing. Its ungovernable - but wonderful.

Actually, they chose the far left - but western media is downplaying that - probably due to the immediate announcement of a wealth tax, a giant hike in capital gains tax, corporation tax, price controls and index-linked automatic pay rises They dont want the idea that things can change catching on...!!!
