@mattd1755 - What you are not getting is HOW MUCH a billion $ is. These people make the Tzar's of Russia look like total peasants. They make the French aristocracy look like beggers. Its a scale of wealth that is literally destroying the economy as they are hoovering up all the money - you HAVE to tax them JUST to keep capitalism functioning. @mattd1755 - The Queen of England is worth 1/1200th of what Elon Musk is worth - are you starting to get the insane scale of this wealth. The richest monarch on the planet is worth one / one thousand two hundredth what Elon Musk is worth. This is not a level of wealth that your average human brain can even comprehend, if it were in £1 coins it would break through the crust of the eath under the pull of gravity and sink to the core of the plannet. Its a level of wealth that is destroying the global economy. If Elon Musk wanted to take his money out of the bank it would use up 1/8th of ALL the US$ on earth. The top 3 richest people have more money than there are $USD in the world.

@mattd1755 - I moved to Bulgaria as a millionaire business owner 12 years ago. I'm now a communist. Why? Because I saw how ordinary people in Bulgaria have a MUCH better life than in the UK where I am from. You are lucky and you live in Canada, which surprises me, if you lived in the USA and were in the 40% of people who can not afford the medical treatment you might think differently. Here in Bulgaria the vast majority of people who remember communism voted to return to communism in the recent election. Im not saying communism is perfect either - next door in Romania it was a living hell. My main reason for being a communist is environmental - we have to stop making things just for profit cos the planet is well past the point where it can sustain it. The other is, I dont want to be rich in a country with millions of desperately miserable poor people. Once you have 4 cars and 4 houses and you have eaten everything on the menu at every 5* restaurant in the city - life gets pretty meaningless. Capitalism made me incredibly rich, a kid who went to school in black trash bags cos we could not afford coats - I am THE poster boy for capitlaism. But the point is - it left a HELL of a lot of my classmate's behind... Maybe 10 of us "made it" out of a school of 2500 kids. Its the utterly miserable life the 1500 who "failed" have now that bothers me. The only thing they failed at was being born to a poor family in a crappy town in the poorest part of the UK. I will admit - If I had NOT become a millionaire and seen how shallow and unjust it really is - I would not have changed, if I were still trying to make it - id still believe in capitalism...
