  3.  @Titan500J  - dude - or Dudette - its not a question of not agreeing with me - I don't even live in your country. And its NOT my "opinion" its published GOP policy from the 80's. Here is a snippet of a script I wrote. Why America is full of idiots. In the late 1970's and early 80's computers became a thing and you could process lots of statistical data for the first time. And the political parties did... The data showed the GOP they would be demographic-ed out of existence in a couple of decades. It also showed the GOP that stupid badly educated people - amazingly - voted for them. Voted AGAINST their own interests, as blue-collar workers and for the GOP. So the GOP started to breed their own supporters. They systematically defunded education - in 1976 education was 5.7% of GDP. In 1983 it was 3.4% Some of the specific changes they made were to STOP teaching critical thinking skills, skills that ALLOW people to spot a lie. And it was wildly successful. America now has an uneducated subclass of 35% idiots and it is enough to swing elections. I'm a psychologist and author in Europe. In working on a book "How to survive in a collapsing society". So I have been researching this for months. Its possibly the evilest social engineering / eugenics in history. They knowingly and deliberately engineered poor people with no future and lied to them for 40 years to stay in power and screw over working and middle-class Americans... And it WORKED - that is the unbelievable part to me - IT WORKED...

  4.  @Titan500J  - "The fairness doctrine was an attempt to quell the conservative voice in America on am radio" NO IT WASNT The fairness doctrine of the United States Federal Communications Commission introduced in 1949, was a policy that required the holders of broadcast licenses to both present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced. If anything it was introduced to help stop the spread of communism in America, that was seen as the biggest threat to America in the post WW2 era. How can you BE so stupid, you don't want to be called stupid - then stop saying stupid things.

  5.  @Titan500J  - Well credit to you - and I mean that. Only one time in 1000 does someone say "I stand corrected" and that sets you apart from a hell of a lot of people. "would you want Sean Hannity CNN, MSNBC to balance what there saying" NO - I would want news channels to be funded by cooperatives OR the shares only owned by SMALL ordinary investors. You are not allowed to own more than say - 50 shares of any media outlet. Who are the real kings in this world??? The people that own the media - the PEOPLE of America did not elect Trump - Rupert Murdoch elected Trump and that is horrifically toxic and dangerous. If you want to know HOW dangerous - watch Sky News Australia. You think US media is bad - they called Greta Thunberg a child abuser the other week!!! They said that today's youth has NOTHING to worry about with the climate at all, its all a con... NOW you might argue about the REASONS for climate change in America but I don't think anyone is saying it is not happening... Lets remember that Australia USED to have a "Great Barrier Reef" no longer, and half the country was on fire last year. The whole of western civilisation is screwed, everything is owned by the billionaires - the Kings - the media, the politicians of all parties, the corporations, and almost ALL the money - there is no money LEFT in the US economy, it is sat in the bank accounts of billionaires. Why do you think Bezos's $500 million yacht has sails - which prevent helicopters landing so it needs a support yacht...??? You think that is to be environmentally friendly?? NO - its so that it can run indefinitely without refuelling if and when the USA erupts in revolution against the rich and its too dangerous to dock for fuel. Superyachts are SOLD as safe refuges from the revolution - that is literally IN THE SALES LITERATURE as the main selling point. And sales of superyachts are through the roof... There is no such thing as right wing or left wing - there are rich and poor. Everything else is just a distraction from the pitchforks and the revolution. But collapse is coming to the USA, and as horrible as it is, its NEEDED. And its needed in my own home country of the UK - they are about 5 to 10 years behind the USA in collapsing... Sorry for the long post.
