I LIVE IN BULGARIA officially the most corrupt country in the EU - it is NOTHING like as corrupt as the USA Elections are state funded, lobbying is illegal, donations to political parties and candidates are prohibited from foreign interests, corporations, trade unions, anonymous donors, religious organisations. SURE we have lots of low level annoying corruption, people getting planning permission cos they gave $5k to the planning guy - but we dontt have the SYSTEMIC built into the system corruption the USA does.
