WRONG - Russel Brand does a really bad job of sounding like a standard right wing grifter cos he is very intelligent and struggles to think down to their level. Im sorry RB is objectively a VERY intelligent person. He is a bad person, but an intelligent one.

You might be looking for a much more structured use of language than I am - the severely dyslexic guy who could not read or write at 13. " Russell really struggles with coherent sentences and putting his deep vocabulary to good use in proper sequences." SO DO I...!!! I tend to structure my sentences backwards when I am writing novels. Maybe I am projecting onto his as we suffer similar issues with language...??? I am only a guy as flawed and susceptable to bias as everyone else. "His audience has changed, but his language skills haven't. " Maybe when I was agreeing with him I thought him more intelligent than he is and now I disagree Im looking for post rationalisations...!?!?!? There is also the possibility that his brain is mush from all the drugs LOL. My opinion has always been that he is very intelligent, he has a great vocabulary and he likes to show off with this cos he is a narciassist. Im not sure it is possible to have that depth of vocabulary and be dim

@stuarthillier2156 His reasoning, his creative thinking, is critical thinking, his ability to visualise a problem, his skill with language, his skill with communication, his ability to communicate difficult concepts, his vocabulary. He is a genuinely VERY intelligent man, but he is a raging narcissist [both cerebral and overt].

This is not a lack of intelligence on his part - he just has nothing in common with the guys in the red hats so he has no way TO speak to them on their level. If you look back at his stuff from 10 years ago he is incredibly lucid and eloquent - but he was aiming at educated left wing people at the time. NOW, I would be entirely willing to accept an alternative explanation that he is back on drugs and this is impairing his cognition and I am wrong about the reason for his current word salad.

@stuarthillier2156 there is evidence, not that I can point to it cos I didn't make notes, that society is STARING to move on from these online gurus and grifters. Its not that we are wising up or becoming better educated, they are just old hat now. The entire sphere of online grift has been the same for 10 to 15 years. Young Gen Z and Gen A are tending towards more historical sources for inspiration - as personified by the "Letter to Am3ric4" by Mr BinBadguy. Paper magazine and paper book sales are going up QUITE " print magazines sales have risen 4.1% in 2023" Yeah nice talking to someone who does not immediately insult you for having a slightly different opinion...!!!
