  1. In 1935 a Singer 201K was 1/3rd the price of a new Ford car, you could buy it on weekly payment for 10 years. BUT - to give a little more perspective, they are still regarded as one of the best machines in the world and a good one will cost you $500 to $1000 today. So 87 years of work out of your investment. On another note - Im 90 hours into a Victorian Frock Coat and its nowhere near finished...
