@inutilus_1387 "I come from a nation that has tried, and in great capacity, implemented all the principles of socialism." therefore your opinion is invalid I know this is a hard concept to understand but you need to be REMOVED from the pool of valid opinions due to "survivorship bias" 1) You or your family must have hated it enough to move - millions did NOT so you represent a tiny tiny minority of people who hated the staus quo enough to leave 2) Once you have invested in emigrating you have a psychological need to validate that decision - this means denigrating the country you left and upping the country you moved to. Im an author, I have travelled and lived in many ex-communist countries and I have interviewed hundreds of people about life under communism for a book I am writing. I literally NEVER get the description you have given here from people who liv in those countries. Sure they have bad stories, not everyone liked it. But the story YOU tell is the ex-pats story. When interviewing people, you have to adhere to very strict principles, interviewing only people who speak English will MASSIVELY distort the stories you collect.

My advice >>> Never argue with a right-wing / fascist you lose 100% of the time cos they literally DONT CARE. It's not a belief system - it's a personality. It's like trying to tell an extrovert they are wrong to be an extrovert because 16X34 does not = 555. Arguing with them simply validates their position as the victim of oppression.
