Dont worry - its never going to reach orbit let alone another planet. The cosmos is safe.

@WasatchWind "Do you have any source for that claim?" I do - look at the density of SS V Aluminium and the thrust of the engines and get a pocket calculator and you will soon work out - its never going to orbit with a payload let alone another planet. " I have followed the company for a decade, and seen that they have a very capable team..." Yes they are - so are the guys at Telsa but Elon still made them build the cybertruck. Elon has that brain disease the hyper rich get where they start to genuinely believe their own hype and genius and fire anyone who does not believe in the same things they do - and you end up with fsd that is not fds, the cybertruck, fake AI robots and the spaceship made out of wrought iron and coach bolts. This is NOT a Spacex engineer problem - this is an Elon Ponzi megalomaniac problem.

@WasatchWind "If you are so happy at the prospect of Starship failing". Just FYI - Im not - thousands of engineers dedicated their lives to that and I feel for them, I want them to succeed. But Elon now lives in an altered dimension of humanity where crazed billionaires live and fire anyone who disagrees with them, they spend billions $$ promoting their image and even then its not enough to stop them looking total fr34ks

@TheGahta They were supposed to have a lander on the moon by this time and budget - this is why Elon bought an election - to stay out of prison. Everything he is involves with has turned into a giant Ponzi scheme - its all fake and lies and scams

@archierush868 " flight 8 will be orbital " AHHAHAHA give me a call when it is.

@IanMcCloghrie Its never going to be orbital dude, or to be VERY specific its never going to be orbital with a payload and it is 100% never going to be orbital with a payload and be reused. I dont know why everyone is so invested in this fantasy rocket. Just plug the numbers into a rocket calculator - why do you think the next ones are going to be BIGGER, cos they are chasing the 0.1% that gets to orbit and their maths does not add up this rocket will never deliver a payload to orbit nothing wrong with the booster - stick a disposable aluminium 2nd stage on it and you have a totally functional rocket. This thing was designed with a Raptor Fantasy putting out 375 tons of thrust, they added more engines to account for the revised 330t, but in reality, they are making 230t and the R3 is a real engine not an Elon fantasy and its looking like it will be about 280t. 375 X 33 = 12,375 280 x 33 = 9,240 You see the problem - you cant shove a pig iron spaceship into orbit when you are down 3,000 tones of thrust. Also its never going to be reusable.

@archierush868 They were supposed to be landed on the moon in 2024/5 and they have already spent the entire NASA budget that was supposed to give NASA moon landings - so Im not in any way impressed with more fake promises. "All of these are definitely possible with the speed that SpaceX are progressing with Starship." what - 10 years behind schedule at least and you are impressed...????
