I LOVE PEOPLE who care so deeply about things that just don't matter a sh!t to me, cos I care very deeply about things that matter to virtually NO ONE.

AH in that case you need to buy an old electro-mechanical clothes washing machine from the 1970's - with the big find inside that batter the clothes. Washing clothes is a mostly mechanical process - we try to make up for this today by using a lOT of detergent. They dont put the big find on the machines now 1) to make them quieter 2) if you do they have to be heavier engineering I can was a full load of washing with 1 tablespoon of basic brand powder

3 Stories - 1) I Live in a "commi block" in Bulgaria. - it has a wind catcher on the roof, It is VERY effective ours is a giant brick triangle facing the direction of the prevailing wind. It goes down a central shaft to below the building where it cools further and then UP the service riser in the core of the building - that provides pressurised cold air to all the apartments. It is supposed to the a self regulating bypass system - but that rusted up decades ago so you have to regulate it with opening and closing windows. Its 100% FREE and VERY effective 2) a shop just had Awnings installed last week and Ive taken to standing under them on my dog walk to give the dog and I 5 mins of cool Again SURPRISINGLY effective. 3) The block has very VERY high thermal mass - the walls are 20cm or 30cm thick concrete - they heat up all summer and cool down all winter. I have not used AC or heating for the 5 years I have lived here. August is a little too hot and Feb a little too cold - but its livable. My heating and cooling bills are €0.00 for 5 years. in a climate that is -5ºc to +40ºC.

I’m watching a 48-minute video on dishwasher detergent - and I just realised I don’t have a dishwasher…!

@BlackCatCoffeeCompany No but I appreciate them doing that LOL. I strongly believe that vertical format video should be a crime against humanity. [among other things]

a shop near me just had Awnings installed last week and Ive taken to standing under them on my dog walk to give the dog and I 5 mins of cool I was thinking LITERALLY YESTERDAY "I should get Awnings on my home - they are surprisingly effective"

@mysteriousdeath14400 Well I would not go that for - but I do love people who actually CARE about a thing.

@cult_of_odin - A few years ago I had a girlfriend that was younger than me, she was a millennial - she dreamed of having a dish washer. Thats not a joke...

HEAVY DRAPES ARE AMAZING AT STOPPING THE HEAT Its 38ºC out [100F ?] right now on my giant south-facing apartment windows - I dont have AV cos Im European. I have 1 ceiling fan 35w and I am perfectly cool. I have 2 sets of very heavy curtains [drapes] up at the windows - if it gets to 45ºC I have silvered hardboard sheets that I put up EDIT - we do also have a wind catcher on the roof so that helps

YES I have noticed this - you search for a video you know exists - you get 4 semi related shorts you don't want and then the rest is just irrelevant stuff
2
DUDE - YOUR NOT AN INFLUENCER no one pays attention, you're a nice ambiance for the background of other projects - dont stress about it.

THEY SOUNDED A LOT BETTER when the discs were new - there is a channel that shows you some new old stock records being played, its quite amazing. they don't have that "old record player" sound to them that we all recognise - that is wear and age. They sound like a low grade MP3

I was about to write - I remember from my childhood in Yorkshire, England, a "lute" being a stopper or bung or the hairy string you wrapped around pipe threads to make them watertight.

I live in Bulgaria now. I am unbelievably lucky that I live 200m from an "artisanal" coffee shop - they roast their own beans and have about 25 varieties - but being Bulgaria 1lb of beans is about $3 to $4. They will grind them for you to your requirements and going to buy coffee is one of my weekly treats.
