@MatichekYoutube I was a millionaire, but I was pretty miserable. Then I suffered brain damage in a mugging and became homeless. I got myself together and lived in a tiny empty apartment, at first I was deeply ashamed - but then I started to like it. The emptiness was serenity, I didn't have to worry about employees or business or anything beyond my next meal, I wrote some books and learned to tailor bespoke historical suits and actively avoided going back to my old life. I was thinking last week about writing a book "How I Learned to Like Myself" or similar...

@whitecrow20XX - It was programmed into me in my childhood, like the default setting on a smartphone. I never questioned it and strove for it and it never made me happy even when I go "it"

@andreapfister453 Ive led a life that most would consider amazing, and I'm not trying to boast. Ive done the PariDakar rally, I've been lost in a live minefield, Ive been taken into the jungle to be executed, Ive started a multi million $$$ businesses in a country where I didn't speak the language or even read the alphabet, I've overcome severe alcoholism, meth addiction, brain damage, Ive sailed a yacht across France, lived off grid in a log cabin, lived off grid in the yacht in the south of France - but all of them were just desperate attempts to be happy. They were not successes, as most people would see them. They were failed attempts to find something that made me happy. I absolutely never occurred to me that living a tiny modest life writing the odd book and hand-sewing historical suits would make me incredibly fulfilled and very happy. I was born very poor so assumed that happiness was to be found in money and adventure. The people in the movies always look so happy with their wealth and their adventures...

@SkyRied1 - Not at all - How did I become one, hard work and a hell of a lot of luck. I arrived in Bulgaria in 2009 flat broke, I didn't know what to do so I went to the supermarket and photographed everything I had not seen in the west and I put it on Amazon. Very quickly Bulgarian cosmetics started selling very well. I had no money so for the first 2 years I had to get the orders and then run to the supermarket and buy the stuff, wrap it and post it. Then in about 2012 I went suddenly from 100 orders a week to 1000, and then to 1000 a day as the algorithm started to recognise the account and promote it. All of a sudden I was selling $6 million of cosmetics a year. Im autistic so I was extremely good at maximising profit and minimising staff/expenses, a few grams saved per order on packaging can make tens of thousands of $$ a year difference on your profit, online sales is about maths and statistics, at any one time you are losing money on a lot of products to get the "buy now" box but its about maintaining an overall profit on sales and making it unbelievably difficult for anyone to compete with you and then scraping every single penny on every single order. But you need the luck in the first place for it to go viral, there are some amazing Youtube channels with 300 subscribers...

@haliec496 IM way happier now than ever in my life, and I have a life most people would pity as its empty of material possessions. I darn my socks when they get holes in them...!!!

@mistercrisket7506 OR MAYBE I spent 40 years in marketing [20 of it on the internet] and just happen to know what I'm doing. Maybe I was just really good at what I used to do, getting to the top of internet listings...? But you have your little fantasy of superiority, I hope it keeps you warm and fuzzy inside.
