In fairness that is how Apple got so huge. when they launched the iPad - the worlds first tablet - the slogan was "you already know how to use it" it was so obvious and simple you could use it with no training

EVERY TIME I STRIP COMPLEXITY from my life it gets better I bought a typewriter last month, I literally sleep better the days I write on that V the days I use the computer.

OH MY GOD yeah I never thought - I used to get a date a week to a date a month when I was like 18 or 20 just going to the clubs, just as a byproduct of going out it was not the PURPOSE of going out, but you would just get chatting. 90% never went anywhere but that was kinda not the purpose - just meet up for a coffee or a drink, it was just "a social life" Ive just realised that's hardly a thing for young people now.

@therichbuddha3277 I dont think so as I have the blue light dimmed by a "natural paper" app on my iMac. I think it is the clutter and the constant mental distraction that I could look at this or do that. My physiological stress recorded on my Garmin fitness watch goes UP when I work on the computer and DOWN when I work on the Typewriter - I dont have an actual answer as to why this is. My working hypothesis is the human brian can COPE with a lot more complexity than is good for it. So the fact we CAN work this incredibly complicated system like an iMac, does not mean its good for us. I think its like exercise - we can do a lot for a short time, but we cant do a lot for a long time.
