  2.  @cottard7698  - I'm deadly serious. I owned a large "Gold Level" Amazon trading company selling Bulgarian and Polish cosmetics to the USA and the UK. I was mugged for my Rolex Cosmograph watch just up the coast from here one night. Lost most of my functional short term memory as well as part of my object permanency. If I cant see things they stop existing. The company quickly went bankrupt, I was evicted and ended up living rough then in a $5 a night motel. I wrote a book about it all, I'm now an author living a very tiny minimalist life in a lovely little apartment by the sea. For me it has been a massive blessing in disguise cos I never REALLy enjoyed being rich. Its NOT like the movies, which is definitely what I expected. After the novelty wore off I was very disillusioned. I quite like my brain damage, I know that sounds weird. I used to have a hyper active brain that never shut up - its a lot quieter in there now. I have learned to cope with the memory issues. I learned a hell of a lot about myself and what I can do if I put my mind to it. And much more besides...
