@BosskV2 Yea it is, Ukraine has experiencing population decline since the early 90s before the war even began and has always been one of the poorest countries in Europe.

@JimmyNuisance The population was declining because life expectancy decreased by 5 years and people were leaving the country. How is that “progress”?

@Meodread I didn’t say it would? And the problem in Ukraine wasn’t “Russian influence” it was the neoloberalization of the economy imposed by Clinton and Yeltsin. They privatized state assets and allowed oligarchs to loot the country and destroy the economy to a point where it never recovered.

@exiledfrommyself The US is using Ukraine for its own imperialism, the only people helping should be regional allies who are actually invested in the well being of the region. A genocidal military empire 1000 miles away getting involved in the conflict because they want to weaken a geopolitical rival is bad.
