@JB-bb4su Toxic to mammals how? By eating it? By touching it? What does that have to do with anything? What does that have to do with getting off of fossil fuels before they make large parts of the planet unlivable?
Firstly, solar farms aren’t the only way to generate solar energy. Solar panels can be put pretty much anywhere from roofs, to parking lots, to sidewalks.
Secondly, solar isn’t the only source of renewable energy, there is also wind, hydro, biomass, and geothermal sources. Cities that are 100% renewable diversify there sources, they don’t just rely on one.
Thirdly, solar plants already exist in places with flat land and they are more efficient in terms of cost and maintenance than oil/gas or nuclear power.
