@guyledouche7939 cant have the same upbringing when you have inequality. As long as inequality exists everyone can’t have the same upbringing. Capitalism requires inequality. Wrong, no nation has abolished inequality. If people with different upbringings “know not to yell in movie theaters” then apparently upbringing doesn’t matter to you then does it?

@guyledouche7939 Yea it does, wealth completely changes upbringing. If equality doesn’t exist then people can’t have the same upbringing. Nope, no nation has abolished inequality. And no, rich and poor people don’t have anything close to the same upbringing. Poor and rich people don’t even hang around each other statistically.

"trust a person who has a similar upbringing, background, and beliefs set" So you want to live in a society where everyone is forced to have the same upbringing? That would required a lot of change, like making sure everyone has equal amounts of money.

@guyledouche7939 Yeah American’s shared cultural norms are “we don’t care about anyone else so we drive giant gas guzzling trucks everywhere and throw trash on the road” great example. The overwhelming majority of people in American society don’t have the same upbringing because rich people live in an atomized and segregated group from everyone else.
