@MrHellweasel I’m talking about wage theft, employers’ failure to pay workers money they are legally entitled to. Wage theft affects far more people than more well-known crimes such as bank robberies, convenience store robberies, street and highway robberies, and gas station robberies combined. You want to shoot people for those crimes, so why don’t you want to shoot the CEOs who steal millions of dollars from workers every year?

The police arrest people for petty crimes ALL THE TIME, meanwhile there is an epidemic of wage theft and the police do nothing about it. “The law abiding citizen should just uproot his entire life and move elsewhere so some useless asshole who contributes nothing to society doesn’t have to get punished?” Buddy, you literally JUST SAID that’s what workers can do if they’re employer is stealing from them. @The13thRonin Nah if a store is getting looted like that it wouldn’t be practical to arrest that many people so you can pretty much take what you want, pro tip though just don’t be the one who gets nabbed if the cops show up, and if you do make sure you steal under a few thousand worth of stuff (depending on the state) so it’s only a misdemeanor.
