Why should their be a compromise between freedom, and people that (for some reason) think it is a good idea for the government to dictate what doctors can and cannot do? The reality of this situation is that some people not only think that they know better than medical professionals, but fall for outright absurdities such as claiming that doctors kill viable fetuses, and even that there is such a thing as "post-birth abortion". There is no reason whatsoever to kowtow to people that are that out of touch with reality, let alone compromise with them.
