The internet exists. Anyone that can get online has access to pratacally anything and everything, so in really it doesn't matter anymore. The really, REALLY funny thing about all of this is the fact that banning something in this day and age brings whatever it is a lot more attention than it would have gotten otherwise. It has the exact oppicite effect as it's free publicity. More people see/hear and buy something that has been banned than would have without the ban letting people know whatever it is exists in the first place.
