@jeremymaloy You're not trying to turn this place into a theocracy; fair enough. I also understand that you're attempting to do the right thing.
The truth of the matter is that if we'd at along last quit believing in nonsense in the first place it couldn't be used to spread misinformation, ignorance, hate, discrimination, limit freedom, induce fear, create terrorists, ...the list goes on, and on, and on.
Just think of how many hate groups and terrorist organizations are tied to region.
While it's true that there's room enough on Earth for everybody to believe in practically whatever they'd like, you'd have to admit that we'd all be a lot better of without religion as it causes far too many problems.
