  8.  @929mmr  Yes, it is. I hate to break the bad news to you, but it's not the '70s anymore. Only 57% of the US calls themselves christian, and that number is dwindling rapidly. Protestants are now just 1/3 of the US and catholics are down to 20%. When the boomers die off christians as a whole will be a minority in the US. Christofascism and the so called "culture war" is leading to the end of christianity having any power at all because there will soon be far too few christians to matter. They did it to themselves.
