Kevin Duggan "Shira/ Noahide laws or Christian laws you can’t have both there incompatible." There is no difference. Bullshit is bullshit, and it's used far too often to repress. Just because one group thinks they have a different inadvisable man in the sky than another group doesn't make it any more true than there being an invisible man in the sky in the first place.

@epyonsystem1869 BULLSHIT Your religion calls for limiting freedom and propagating ignorance. It attempts to control what we can and cannot do with and to our own bodies, what language and content can and cannot go over the airwaves, who we can and cannot marry, what teachers can and cannot teach (no matter how factual the information)....the list goes on, and on, and on.

@craigcrawford6595 "Jefferson made his own version of the Bible..." Let's go with the augment that the Founding Fathers were Christian, just for the sake of conversation. They also didn't know that basic hygiene was a good idea (or even what it was), that bacteria and viruses exist, that dinosaurs as well as everything else that was on Earth before humans existed (the first dinosaur fossils were found in 1824)...the list goes on, and on, and on. To say that we've learned a lot since then is one hell of an understatement. It was practically a different world then. No offense to the founding fathers, but we're not crawling with lice and parasites (like they were) anymore as we now know enough to be rid of them. People simply not knowing better in the past is no excuse to perpetuate ignorance, nor force that ignorance on others.

@Xpistos510 Someone's parents being dipshits doesn't automatically make them a dipshit.

@craigcrawford6595 "the Bible forewarned about such persecutions" The Cat In The Hat said that it's raining outside. That's just as relevant (i.e. not at all) as it's also a work of fiction.
