  1. i have simmilar altrernator that failed, i dismanteled it and one diode is dead, i mesured resistance of stator and something is diferent than when you measured resistance on 11:47 ,rectifier is out and i measured on naked wires:terminals that are on right side of picture between that 2 wires is no resistance, but upper( right )wire is in connection with upper pair of wires and lower (right) wire is in connection with lower pair of wires, upper pair of wires are connected mutually, same for lower pair of wires, i checked stator windings and it looks ok, no broken wire, should all pairs of wires be connected mutually and between pairs?
