  1. when you mentioned bicycle brakes: some guys tested same bikes, only difference was: one had wheel cable brake and other hydro disc brakes, and what you think which bike had less braking distance, of course, disc brake, why because in first second of braking, hydro brake makes more braking force than cable brake because inner and outer cables are stretching and act as spring but when it reaches full power on both bikes front wheel can be locked.

  2. test two cars: one "supercar" that has less braking distance and everyday car, for ex your aygo, thest them at :20/40/60/80/100 km/h panic braking and you will see that both cars have same stopping distance till some speed, after that aygo will have longer stopping distance
