When I installed the LPG system in the car, the mixture was super lean, I could barely go 100km/h, but it used 8 liters of gas per 100km, when the mixture was boosted it used 12 liters of gas but I could go 160km/h, so there's nothing new or unusual about it, it's just a question of when the valves will burn out

@glockmat that's why I claim it's impossible to achieve 100mpg

Heating the fuel reduces its octane value because the temperature at the end of the compression stroke is higher, the earlier spontaneous combustion of the mixture occurs, which is why LPG is heated to reduce its octane value to that of gasoline.

the whole story is fake: 1. on that engine the volumetric efficiency is low and it is impossible to achieve 100mpg 2. maybe electric cars have that efficiency if the electrical energy is converted into the chemical energy of the fuel without losses 3. propane butane systems (LPG) do exactly what that guy did and again there is no incredible efficiency (the liquid gas is heated to the temperature of the engine antifreeze and completely evaporates and turns into gas)

100mpg=2.3 litre/100km
