@biskitpagla ok so just use try catch. Like what’s the end result? Either way the program breaks. The end result is the same. I’m not defending js, but what does it really matter in the end?

@fulconandroadcone9488 not really. TS does not guarantee anything at runtime. TS basically gives you intellisense and that’s it…

I have worked several software jobs over the last few years. Each one has made me more and more toxic. I am so disillusioned with corporate america, and tech. It's unfortunate. I took 6 months off thinking I would want to go back, but now here I am and I am dreading going back. But what can I do? I dont have infinite runway and this kind of money is impossible to find in other careers...

well kind of. Performance isnt worth sacrificing easily readable code in most corpororate settings.

well python is taking off now, but even javascript is faster than that. Explain to me why python is used for all this machine learning, it makes like no sense!
