  35. Hungary follows NATO rules. There is no rule to have to take part in actions outside NATO area. In this case every country is free to follow decisions in the way it thinks it is appropriate. US made several military interventions all around the world where most NATO countries even totally refused to take part.

  47. Europeans legally cannot be peacekeepers in Ukraine bc they are defacto allies and would therefore be considered by International law as combattants. Peacekeepers therefore must be non-aligned and come from outside Europe, eg Indians. Every peacekeeping mission according International law must be UN- mandated. So all this discussion on "European Peacekeepers" is utter nonsense.

  49. Modi can and would willingly serve as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine in peace negotiations. But to think that Modi would force Russia to anything is only one of Ukraine's delusions more. India does what all sensible countries should do - try to cooperate with all countries for mutual benefit.
