  9. ​​​ @Stephen-4722 This war is about Neutrality-status of Ukraine - no CIA bases on Ukrainian land near Russian borders any more; no US military bases on Ukrainian territory in the future ! And that all bc of Putin's fear that Russia could lose it's free access to the Black Sea! It's for logical geopolitical reasons!

Not much difference for the Swiss !

  12.  @Vladimirthetiny  Well, nothing new, Putin wants Ukraine to have Neutrality-status, no CIAbases at Russians borders anymore, no future USmilitarybases on Ukrainian ground, keep free access to Black Sea (not be encircled by NATO-countries). But numbers of Ukraine would nevertheless be interesting, don't you think so?

Sorry, that fits not at all to your theory... And it makes also no logical sense. Russia could not control an occupied Ukraine - they now quite well. Putin now is "creating" by destruction the Puffer-zone he has asked before diplomatically in the form of Ukrainian Neutrality-status ...

US from the beginning made it clear that they want to WEAKEN Russia (US minister of defense in march 2022) but not a complete collapse of Russia bc that would be a big gain for China which is not in US interest. Therefore a long war of attrition serves best US interests. "as long as it takes" ( NOT "as much as it needs for victory")

  25. They are accustomed to all these symbols, there were eg a report on DW showing soldiers recruiting bureaus in Ukraine, where you could see big Nazi Symbols on the walls. It's obviously "normal" for them... probably Putin is really right...
