@abrakkehakka1357 Why should Russia occupy Ukraine and Moldova ? Why ally Hungary and Slovakia ? All that talk is just nonsense propaganda ! And Austria lived happily and secure as a neutral state the whole cold war area, 45 years, directly at the iron curtain, bordering communist Czechoslovakia and Hungary, as a buffer-state between NATO and warsaw-pact countries. Neither people not any political Party in Austria want to become a NATO member!

You know quite well that I am not a Russonazi! And I know the map quite well - Austrian's capital Vienna was for a period of 45 years during the cold war only 50km from the iron curtain and Austria lived happy and in peace bc of its credible neutrality politics !

@jennysue601 Austria was not surrounded by NATO countries for 45 years during the cold war! It was directly at the iron curtain and was protected bc of it's Neutrality. People have this good experience and therefore know about the value of Neutrality-status

Yes, Sweden and Finland joined. But as of Austria and Switzerland there are no intentions. Eg. in Austria there are about 85% (!) of people against NATO membership and sticking to Neutrality-status. Austrian foreign minister recently said "there is no thought about that". Similar in Switzerland. They are lying and exaggerating in this report ...

@danielbailey5849 I have heard 5 minutes ago from a military expert on ZDF that Ukraine plans their next offensive in summer 2026(!). Obviously no (will for) peace in sight, who knows how all this will end ...
