Putin has always been ready for peace talks ! It is Zelensky who refused and even issued a Presidential decree in October 2022 which forbids negotiations with Russia and which is still valid.

Nobody tried to convince Putin not to invade - Putin sent proposals for talking to Biden as well as to NATO in December 2021, both refused to talk with him. Biden intentionally provoked the war, Zel played stupid proxy !

You are funny! Putin has always wanted to negotiatiate, it has always been Zel who refused ! Zel even issued a Presidential decree which forbids negotiations with Russia in oct 2022 which is still valid !

@Talinthis Putin offered very good terms for Ukraine in March 2022 - autonomy of the 4 oblasts within Ukraine. Putin afterwards several times asked for negotiations, but the longer the war last and Biden and Zel refused to talk with him the worse Putin's offers become. The hard standing on territories he only started with the invasion of Ukraine in Kursk region. He now wants a treaty which reflects the facts on the ground. Zelensky followed Biden's orders to neglect Putin's offers the last 3 years, not really a clever choice !

@Talinthis That's the propaganda story. Hear or read in her book what former Germany's chancellor Merkel tells about Minsk ... it was Zel and the West which never intended to respect it. And watch what the Ukrainian Head of delegation of Istanbul negotiation as well as bridgebuilder Naftali Bennett tell about UK/US interference .... Butcha was afterwards (and was, by the ways, never properly inspected). So please inform yourself properly and don't repeat nonsense propaganda!
