@peabase If Biden loses the election European Union will drop its "no talk- policies" immediately, also - or even first - Ms Kallas. EU so called "Foreign Policy" would look ridiculous once again...

@Teebs131 No, the EU, or better said European Community as it was called at the beginning, was created as a PEACE project. Schuman's thought was, when Coal and Steel are under a common Authority there will not be any war between Germany and France anymore. On this EC/EU functioned well. Financial aspects are only a very late development of the last 30 years and were not created against USA but to serve trade ! European Commission has always been transatlantional ! Not always in Europeans interests ...
