  3.  @tashidolkar5885  It was only a matter of time to NATOmembership. Ukraine since 2014 got heavily armed by NATO, soldiers trained by NATO and Ukrainian military aligned with NATO structures. Russia therefore launched a preemptive war !

  13.  @Keith-b1u  Well, I think of Germany, where people from the Eastern parts of the country are to a much larger extent pro Peace than in the Western part. As they are in general often less educated and have worse job opportunities they know quite well that their sons would be the first to be sent to the battlefield. You can see clearly this opinion split in social media as well as even in election results. But sure every Dollar spent for education is a good one !

I do not forget history, in contrary I like to study history a lot, bc we can learn about the experiences and thinking of other countries for better understanding their doings. It also shows us good ways of solving problems apart from the military. But we have to put all this knowledge in the context of current circumstances which are very different from that 80 years or longer ago.

  20.  @Dexs59  Die Ukraine war nie neutral- sie hat sogar am Irakkrieg teilgenommen, sie hat CIAbasen auf ihrem Territorium zugelassen und dem US-Militär Landerechte auf ihren Flughäfen zugestanden, alles schon 10 Jahre vor dem Krieg. Kein neutraler Staat macht so etwas !!! Die Ukraine war ein Narr und wird noch immer von einem Clown in den Tod hineinregiert ! Und deutsche Narren wie du feuern dazu auch noch an ... 🤡 🙈 🤦‍♂️

  22.  @damony1301  He did not say that ! I have heard the whole interview. He said that from a historic perspective he regrets that Soviet Union or before Russian Empire have broken down. Just to compare: I am Austrian, we had big Habsburg Empire and are now a small country. Me and I guess every Austrian is proud of our history, former strength and common culture, and be in some kind sad that this is over, but that does not mean to want to make war and conquer former parts of our country.

  25. I am European and what worried me most about US the last years has been the horrible warpropaganda machinery concerning Ukraine. No freedom of speech anymore even on German channels! That was a real and brutal "education" towards war ! I would be therefore very happy if USA would leave Europe and let us live in peace again!
