However cruise is so overlooked because he's been the definition of a movie star over his career. His performances in Born on the 4th of July, Magnolia, Collateral, Jerry Maguire, all Oscar worthy. And he ws brilliant in tropic thunder although a comedy. The guy can character act. Just doesn't do it enough. He's the same guy in alot of movies. So what. So is Denzel. Actually he reminds me of a white Denzel when you think if careers and their acting habits. I think cruise is Actually better. But anyway that's why he's a star. But he has range and so much talent thats taken for granted. So under-rated
