goestplus Sometimes a gangster is needed. Whether he's good in your eyes morally isn't the point. Sometimes it keeps the city in check from drugs, young punks with guns, and disorder. Sometimes the cops are the bad gangsters and you need a "good" one to keep the city in check.

goestplus No I wouldn't. And I never said I was talking about Whitey specifically. I was talking in generalities. And I'm right. You think if the mob was what is used to be your have all this gang violence. Absolutely not. They wouldn't allow it and it would save many many innocent lives considering gang violence is used against mostly innocent people while if the mob got came to see you, you probably deserved it or put yourself in a bad position. This is true all over the world. Sometimes evil has to be left alone so more people don't suffer. Like Sadam. Kept the terrorists in check. Now he was a piece of shit bit the dumbest thing we could ever do was take him out. Now it's filled another terrorists and we and the world are in more danger and the people who love there are still being killed. Sometimes you have to see the future and pick the lesser of two evils. Because getting rid of one giant bug can cause an entire infestation of uncontrollable roaches.

goestplus You're missing the point. You're never going to get rid of gangs. CAN YOU UNDERSTAND NOW? STAY WITH ME. If the mob was what it used to be you wouldn't have AL these gangs running wild killing innocent propel for absolutely no reason. Just to show off a kid will shoot you or your mother in the head getting off the bus. Or walking up to your door. Or going to the store. It wouldn't happen of the mob was what it used to be. And terrorism and the mob are completely different things and you know it so dint start taht shit. You just keep missing the point. I'm not supporting the mob. I'm not supporting fuckin Saddam. But sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils to save lives and keep some kind of order. 90% of mob kills we're people involved with their dealings. Probably 70% of gang kills are innocents. Are you getting the picture yet? I'm not saying the mob never killed innocent person. I'm never saying that SH wasn't a fuckinh terrible piece of shit. But there's a time and place for everything. And sometimes you don't get invoked with something that isn't an an immediate and constant vast danger to increase killings over a wider area to more innocents in a more brutal way. You're not understanding a dam thing I'm saying apparently. I'm not supporting either. But I can also look ahead and use my brain and see the damage taht can occur from taking out one group because you made it a priority either to look good, for you're own gain, or because it was deemed necessary. The mob also did it to themselves by continually turning in each other. It's not what it was. If they stayed the way they were there would be more order on the streets and less violence hands down. You don't see the big picture or just don't understand how things work. The cops sure as hell aren't looking out for you. Most anyway.

Snrub Yeah I saw the gift. Liked it alot. And whether or not Black Mass is a gangster film or biopic, to hear the departed was better is extremely disappointing as I thought the departed wasn't that good of a movie and completely forced. Dam shame.

american pitbull channel Did you like Black Mass more than the departed? Because I'm really looking forward to Black Mass and I think the Departed is terribly overrated.

PrettysureItsInfectd Agreed. The documentary blows it away and it's a shame they screwed the move up. Especially with a talent like Michael Shannon.

Snrub I was talking about The Iceman docs. I'm hoping Black Mass is better than then friggin Iceman movie because I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't seen it yet and I'm extremely excited to see it. Can't wait to see Depp finnaly play the role he was made for. Been awhile. And Edgerton underrated in everything. I heard he'd amazing too. Did you like it more than the departed? I know they're not the same movie, and I know it was the American version of infernal affairs, but it's the most recent movie to compare it to gangster wise. And Nicholsons ridiculously over the top, overrated performance was loosely based on whitey. I'm not a big fan of the departed and think felt completley forced and mailed in. However I respect the fact something people liked it. What's your opinion. What's the better movie?

Snrub So? Which do you think is the better movie?

PrettysureItsInfectd Nice. I'm glad to hear you liked it a lot. I actually like Scott cooper's directing style and I think alot of people don't get it. They expected something else or something. Like I actually liked out of the furnace and thought the acting was unbelievable and shoukd have been recognized. Was it amazing. No. But it's a pretty dam good flick with quality directing. He's usually very direct, to the point, will have only a couple scenes that hit you emotionally but they go you, and definitely gets the best out of his actors. I'm looking forward to it alot. I know either way the acting is unreal. Which isn't a surprise considering the cast abd the director. I'm sure I'll love it.
