  1. Maybe rich countries are rich but that does not mean people can afford growing children if governments are rich and people pay on their money on taxes.

  2. Poor countries have more children so they need workforce for the land they don't spend all their salaries on taxes like in the "rich west"... In the rich west we don't that chance you work you pay 80% on taxes and nothing left to feed the kids and you don't have land to feed them.
