  1. When done correctly, the Socratic method is phenomenal. My eldest attends a Christian classical school, with discussion between students and teachers taking up most of the class period on the topic at hand. When nurtured, this method teaches children to be comfortable with expressing their understandings with confidence, being wrong with dignity and being open to changing their views. Using this method in law school makes sense.
