Doesn't seem like Devon really wants to get into serious matches for now tbh
4
Irakli got schooled by John, he doesn't stand a chance. You guys hype him up way too much. Sure he's improved and he's really strong, but he doesn't stand a chance against the guy who steam rolled most SHW and HWs.
4
Nah rip Matt Mask I feel like Devon ripped off his hands and replaced them with his feet...RIP Matt Larrtshvilli
4
Captions written in Fortnite terms
4
@nilo9801 Yea he did, credit where it's due ofc. He acted immature, but he didn't let Devon get in his head, that's a huge achievement.
4
Ermes will devour him, too humble
3
@maculado2323 His own claim. And if you think it's charity, go watch the clip and also know that Denis was also trash talking Devon, meaning there was no room for fake compliments at that moment.
3
@maculado2323 You saying you know his shape better than he does himself? That's already wild enough. How about, instead of trying your very hardest to discredit Devon and saying Denis is washed up, you admit that Devon has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since 2018? Denis is no fking joke, he's been training with heavy weights and can still hold up very well. Devon surpassed him.
3
@maculado2323 and I get your point man, but saying that Devon couldn't defeat prime Denis is definitely considered as discrediting. And I make the same argument as always: in 2018, Devon was just a weak feeble version of himself, and Denis demolished him. Denis in 2023 wasn't in prime shape and Devon also destroyed him. I feel like this whole "prime shape" biz shouldn't exist on any side...you get me?
3
@maculado2323 Perfect wording my man, I feel the same way. I couldn't, with a straight face, say that either of them would win in a match at their prime shapes, maybe it would be close, maybe it wouldn't even be close at all. No way to measure it in my opinion tbh.
3
What friendship? Jerry has been crying about his match for years now 😂
3
@jasonslovak4766 just proved my point
3
Albow konkreeeeeet
3
Need a Devon Genadi rematch
3
@KingSpartan95 You understand nothing of sentimental value...
3
@leonardotheuseless4188 Yea losing to a huge foul is a bad look he should retire
3
Can't expect albow to be a thinker whatsoever LOL
3
Yea I agree it seemed VERY staged. Even if it was tho, Chance clearly cheated the first round, doesn't deserve the credit.
3
@DrewBahr Agree with the first part, but not the second, by a stretch. Denis doesn't "suck", he can still hold on to most heavyweights without much issue, but SHW is a different story.
3
Exactly 😭
3
I disagree tbh. I think versatility makes the game way more fun. Of course your actual point is about cheating and such, but I feel like these little underhanded methods and edge gaining tricks are what make the sport even more intriguing and enjoyable. Unless of course the sportsman completely relies on cheating and the only reason he wins IS cheating, that's a whole different story. Could be just me tho lol

welcome back to KLICKBAIT ALBOW
3
Nuh uh, he always highlights how important grip strength can be, and how literally any thing that strengthens any part of your arm, could definitely be helpful in arm wrestling (of course the priorities vary). I recall he ranked grip strength quite high, and said it's very useful to hold on to someone desperately trying to slip, and get them into a disadvantageous position, also strong grip can disarm a bit of your opponents wrist strength.
3
Is he wrong tho
3
I have a clip of the creating offspring
3
I thought he was converting to Islam or something LOL Looked like he was wearing traditional clothes and a prayer head cover
3
Nothing new 🤷🏻♂️
3
Man you guys really are the dullest tools in the shed LOL. Devon IS NOT mad about losing to Denis way back when he was much weaker than his current shape, Devon got his revenge and demolished Denis. Devon is mad about the fact that Denis is gatekeeping a trophy, and therefore, robbing the sport. Maybe it's intentional maybe it's not, but Denis needs to respond because this isn't a joking matter, it concerns the whole of the community. This isn't me crying, it's me stating absolute facts.
2
@malakistv4966 Nuh uh Devon was out of surgery returning to the table and much weaker back then, I'd say the 2008 version of him was WAY stronger than 2018. Denis in 2023 wasn't weak and retired, he himself stated that he was 90% of his prime shape, and the fact that he can toy with heavyweight champions is a testament to this statement. Devon destroyed Denis 2023. Denis destroyed Devon 2018. Stop yapping and accept it
2
@malakistv4966 proving my point again 😂
2
*Grew the sport and singlehandedly promoted it to an international level* "Destoyed the sport"
2
@Lotofhand "Second best"
2
@BullyMaguire357 Lol 1) Denis himself said he was 90% of his prime on a podcast before the match, guess you know his health better than him and Babken tho? 2) Devon is a very defensive player who has never tried playing offensive after the surgeries. Hence his offense is very weak. However that's kind of irrelevant because Devon very obviously did that on purpose, like he said before, he didn't want to pin Denis, he wanted to slowly break him by surging again and again, literally said that before the match at the conference. 3) please define "prime Denis". Some people call 2008 Denis prime, some 2014 and some 2018 (he literally had one super match in 2018)
2
By "strong" he means overalls such as bicep strength and shoulders, chest etc. His arm wrestling specifics are obviously some of the strongest, but when it would come to bicep strength etc, he probably wouldn't even fall in the top 10.
2
@djo-dji6018 Goofy ass logic + he put Levan in an Oxygen mask. If we had running fouls that would definitely change the match as well. And it wasn't really a "sick Levan", I'm sure his sickness wouldn't have changed anything lol.
2
@pedrobile1488 His shape wouldn't have affected anything, the result would've been the same brother. The fact is, Ermes made Levan struggle to no end, got two rounds over him and he weighs basically half the weight lol. A rematch would likely be in Ermes' favour since his lifts have shown a huge improvement (especially back pressure) and he's improved his wrist + Levan has a weaker wrist. And it seems like you're a Levan meat rider by profession lol
2
He's making a valid point tho. He says that he wasn't prepared which is purely logical considering he took the match 4 weeks after Cadorette. Although I guess it can be called an excuse since the match wasn't even close, so it's sort of an invalid argument, but it could be true. Who knows? Maybe the match would've been much much closer if Ermes had time.
2
@lucasetche even apart from first round, refs focused him so much they over did it and actually put him at a huge disadvantage with his shoulder placement, grip and even letting Genadi get away with so many elbow fouls, I could count instances where Genadi's elbow VISIBLY flew off the pad. Under fair circumstances, that should've been something like 3-1 for Devon.

Clueless

Wholesome
2
Noooo not the konkreet albow super match, now i definitely won't be watching EvW
2
You have Larratt in your username, have some faith, don't be a traitor. Levan will fall.
2
@TheMuelsaGD April 20th, can't wait...may the best arm wrestler win-whoever it may be :)
2
Right here of course
2
I agree
2
@Press-vh1ix I'm gonna end myself
2
It's "Ermes" Karratt, keep up
2
Can't be gatekeeping training methods bruh 😭
2
Exactly what I said! Such an unfair match. Devon would've used his nose as an intimidation tactic, using domain expansion through his nose he would've instantly pinned Levan easy 7-0, but he didn't do it because he's humble.
2
@brandenr5937 Ermes had a few weeks, just FYI. But you're completely right, no time for prep should never used as an excuse.
