What do you expect them to do? Pick up rifles? commit hate crimes and become extremists? Either way you are wrong. Women in Afghanistan are risking their lives and protesting (no dramatisation I've experienced these situations being part of that region).

@phlexcrew so according to you physical protests are "talking the talk"? I don't get your point, they literally go in person to the protests and are also being beaten silenced and arrested by the Taliban. But im sure you can just write that off as "women being babies" since women are sensitive right?

@nak.lanang And that's your argument? In my belief (as a male btw) a Man should never stand for a woman being hit forget being full on abused. The Taliban are using physical methods to silence these helpless women yet they are still keeping their ground and going to these protests. I'd say that's considered risking their life as the Taliban isn't famously known as the most warm bunch of pals and since they've shown that physical methods do not faze them, it takes guts to go against that whether male or female.

@nak.lanang To answer your question: yes, the video was released by some similar news outlets but the video in question was of women in Afghanistan present in the protests fleeing from the scene, and it sounded pretty violent. Also my view on oppression is it's literal meaning and again, I have first hand experience. Back in 2012 when I was in Pakistan there were many terrorist activities and I was present in actual school shootings/bombings (experienced 3 in my life), so if you were to ask me I believe oppression is cruel and completely unjustified behaviour with aim to prove dominance. I absolutely do not consider women being banned from university as oppression. That's more than over dramatisation, the oppression is the women being silenced through physical means. And if you still don't believe that women are being oppressed over this issue in Afghanistan...I don't know what to tell you.

@rok0sbasili5k no I totally agree with you but I'm no feminist or anything, I despise these online extreme feminists it's all just plain idiocy. Honestly I just see these sad and brain dead Tate fan boys and can't help but reply using facts and logic (knowing well it won't get anywhere considering the fact that these terminally online mfs don't have a quarter of a braincell).

@PermanentHigh And that's because it's a man's fucking duty. I don't care what religion you believe in nor what your philosophical beliefs are, but every man and his son is taught from day one that it's their responsibility to protect women and protect the family. It's a man's duty to embrace the pain and not complain, and I'll admit it's a difficult responsibility and causes many mental issues, but that's just what a man is built for and what is expected of him. This is not just my belief, it's common sense. You won't see a NORMAL couple being attacked by a dude and the woman defending her man who hides behind her back like a pussy cat behind her mother.
1
@PermanentHigh What? Not only am I immigrant I'm underage lmao you want me to travel to Afghanistan (ignoring the obvious flaws in that "plan" for a second) and pull up with the Assault Rifle go bonkers like a protagonist from a badly written netflix original on their ass? I'm done
1
@rok0sbasili5k alright and what's stopping YOU from going to cold blooded war and being the protagonist hero of these women Mr big guy who judges people for choosing not to go to war? I acknowledge the fact that there are many young children that have achieved more in 10 years of their life than I will in probably 50 and I don't feel ashamed whatsoever in admitting that I am afraid of war and being fucking drafted with actual guns and killing, but that doesn't really make me a soft pussy, it makes me someone who's not unique and special. These kids who make such sacrifices are rare to the point where it's 1 in hundreds of millions at this point. Brain-dead argument my man.

@rok0sbasili5k And yet I haven't seen your reasoning to why you don't come out and stop this like the hero you are? And I keep insinuating that these people would be considered "heroes out of a netflix original" because it's just that absurd. Tell me one realistic situation in which a random 10 year old came in picked up some pistols and overturned the government and authority rule like the hero he is. Also you insinuated that there was violence and war included when you said something about "10 year olds picking up firearms" or something along the lines. And either way I doubt you could walk in all jolly and goofy like Mickey mouse tell the Taliban "howdy pal, no no no abusing women is not good my children" and they would listen to you, some sort of violence would be deemed necessary.

@rok0sbasili5k but I didn't even argue? I was just replying (admittedly, with some wit which I apologize for) to your arguments lmao. But it's not even that bad, sharing of different opinions comes with disagreements and even arguments and that's the beauty of it, it's not gonna be all rainbow sunshine.
