  2. I read how New York taxes those who leave the state - if they still own property there. They declare you still a resident and charge you income taxes - and you have to go through paperwork hell to prove you aren't. When you leave New York - you better leave it entirely - everything sold. If former residents so much as spend too many days there in hotels - they find out and the hell starts all over. Leave there - take everything - and stay out. The Left is nothing if not hateful and vindictive.
